Principle Five: 15 Min. or Less

I believe that a man should be able to dress in 15 min. or less. If I take any more time than that, including deciding a shirt & tie combination and/or putting on my bowtie, then I've done something wrong.

The 15 min. rule starts at the time of purchase. I don't buy anything that I'm not already sure will work with my essentials. (That is one reason to keep your essentials simple and classic.)

In the end, I don't want to buy something and wear it once or worse yet spend 20 min. trying to figure out how to make it look good. So for that reason, I obey the 15 min. rule when dressing and remember it when buying.

And if you're wondering about the bag at the top, when you pack, you don't need any more luggage than that.
