I've got two of these belts. One is beat to hell and the other is new. The second one was meant to replace the first, but the only thing is, the old one looks better. Sure it's frayed and beat up, but with my khakis and button-up shirts, it takes the edge off the whole look.
Don't bother with a distressed belt, it doesn't look the same. That's mainly because it hasn't molded to you while it frays over time.
As for my new one, I wear it too; but mainly just to break it in. I figure I've got a few years' worth of catching up to do.
