Charles Tyrwhitt doesn't get enough attention in America, but they make great shirts. Each summer they run a sale that usually takes the price down by 50%.
While I advocate for simplicity in a wardrobe, blue and white is fairly manageable as far as colors go, so I doubt it's tough to find at least one tie in any guy's wardrobe to go with this shirt.
Besides the pattern of the shirt, what I like about about these shirts is their collar. It's wide enough to tie a full windsor knot (even though they don't) and not need to stuff it behind a collar.
